The Fabre family has been making wine for four generations and owns the 15 hectare Domaine de la Rochelierre in the Fitou town.

The Cousinié Method, an organic movement that promotes farming without the use of pesticides, has been practised by Jean-Marie's parents since 1979.

When Emilie, who comes from a Rhône Valley winemaking family, joined Jean-Marie Fabre in 2008, they were able to carry on the tradition of sustainable farming.

The Domain received HVE certification in 2017. Modern technology and energy-saving techniques were used in the construction of a brand-new cellar in 2015, where Jean-Marie enables his wines to exhibit a genuine expression of his Fitou vines.
