Alain Gayrel took over the nine-hectare family estate in 1976, and he has since been dedicated to turning it into a genuine standard estate for Gaillac wines.

Alain carefully chose the best parcels of land on old winegrowing soils, which were scrupulously tended by skilled hands, to let the vines represent the terroir.

Today, Alain's son Vincent carries on the legacy. In order to make cutting-edge, fruit-driven wines that highlight the Gaillac region and the distinctive variety of the South West of France, the Gayrel family maintains long-term agreements with growers who cultivate from sustainably farmed vines that carry the HVE Level 3 accreditation.
