The Louis Michel family have been producing wines in Chablis since the nineteenth century.

Kimmeridgian and Portlandian subsoil, a semi-continental climate, and an iconic grape, Chardonnay: these are the ingredients that make the Chablis terroir so special.

The family vineyard, whose vines are on average 45 years old, is located in the heart of the original Chablis terroir, on the most prestigious parcels within a two-kilometer radius of the winery.

The vineyards of the Domaine cover all four appellations: Chablis Grand Cru, Premier Cru, Chablis, and Petit Chablis, providing the full variety of aromas that this distinctive wine can generate.

The Domaine produces three famous Grand Crus, including the famed Grenouilles, and seven Premier Crus.
