Vachnadziani

One of the first vineyards to be developed in Georgia was Vachnadziani, which dates back to 1953. Georgia is regarded as the cradle of wine due to the discovery of 8,000-year-old native Rkatsiteli grape seeds in clay jars.

The Vachnadziani vineyard fell into disrepair during the Soviet era, but both the vineyards and cellars have since seen significant rehabilitation. The goal is to combine cutting-edge technology with their ancient wine culture to preserve it.

Vachnadziani cultivates 25 vine varieties, the majority of which are native, over 1,000 hectares of vineyard in the Kakheti region of eastern Georgia and the Imereti, Racha, and Lechkhumi districts of western Georgia. They exhibit the full appeal of this storied wine-making region with their lively and dynamic range.
