In order to support the future King Charles VII of France during the Hundred Years War, the first members of the aristocratic Stutt family arrived in France from Scotland in the fourteenth century.
Through marriage, the family acquired Chateau de Tracy in 1586. The Chateau is still a family-run business today, and Juliette d'Assay, the youngest daughter, oversees its sustainable farming and production of beautiful, classically-styled wines.
The estate has the HVE certification and is sustainably cultivated.
