One of the outstanding properties in Sauternes is Château Suduiraut. It has some of the best terroir in the area and is recognised for its richness and strength. It is located next to d'Yquem.

The château originates to the 16th century, but AXA has owned it since 1992, and the legendary Christian Seely oversees operations.

One of the nine Sauternes properties listed in the 1855 classification as a First Growth was Suduiraut.

There are no corners cut in this wine, which is now a member of the same stable as Pauillac Super Second Château Pichon-Longueville Baron.

The highest standards of quality are maintained by strict selection in the vineyard and the cellar.
