The Domaine de Joy cultivates 170 hectares of vines in a classic Bas Armagnac terroir in the commune of Panjas (Gers), which lies in the heart of Gascony. Of those 170 hectares, 10% are used for armagnac distillation.

Clay-silica soils and coarse sand (silt-silica) make up the majority of its composition. A southern exposure benefits the majority of the parcels, which promotes the natural development of the grapes and produces juicy and fragrant wines.

The Domaine de Joy is situated in an oceanic climate, with rain enhancing the freshness and perfume of our wines and a Pyrenean influence assisting in the maturation of the grapes towards the end of the growing season.
