Jean-Louis Chavy, one of Gerard Chavy's sons, currently manages his own Domaine. Alain, his brother, currently manages Domaine Gerard Chavy on his own.

Jean-Louis and Alain have divided the family vineyards, splitting the Bourgogne Blanc, village Puligny Montrachet, lieu-dit Charmes, and Premiers Crus Champs Gain, Clavoillons, and Folatieres vines. In addition, Jean-Louis controls the Premier Cru Perrieres parcel, while Alain retains possession of the Pucelles parcel.

The winery was completed in 2004, and the winemaking and ageing methods are conventional. It is too early to talk about a house style for Jean-Louis, but his wines are so far quite delicate and lack any discernible oak influence.
