Two of the top figures in the Navarra winemaking community, José Maria Fraile and Alicia Eyaralar, are the minds behind Tandem.

Tandem is referred to as 'cutting edge' Navarra by critics since it is dedicated to producing the best wines in the area with the least amount of interference in the vineyards and winery.

The grapes are grown in the Yerri Valley, which is known as the best location in the area for producing high-quality wine. They are obsessed with respecting nature and practise sustainable viticulture to keep the vineyard healthy and productive.

A minimal intervention strategy is also used in the winery to guarantee that the grapes accurately reflect their region and real character.

2019 saw Tandem earn the European Vegetarian Union's "V label" certification and become officially known as vegans.
