Bertrand Guillemaud, who is based in Meursault, is the fifth generation of the Guillemaud family to manage the artisanal, private estate. Each parcel is managed separately, using a customised technique from the vine to bottling because Bertrand wants to highlight the finer details of the terroir found in each of their plots, or 'climats'.

The family is steadfastly committed to la lutte raisonnée, sustainable viticulture, and preserving the terroir and vineyard ecosystem for coming generations. Herbicides are not used to cultivate the vines; instead, conventional ploughing methods are employed.
