Domaines Les Astrelles lies in the centre of Gevrey-Chambertin. Les Astrelles is the result of fusing the words "Astre," which means stars, with "Les Parcelles," signifying the similarities between the stars in a galaxy and the mosaic of plots and "lieu-dits," each of which has its own distinct uniqueness.

The name is ideally matched with Burgundy's concept of distinct "climates," which are primarily grown on the Côte de Nuit and Hautes Côtes de Nuit.

After Pierre Naigeon sold the 11-hectare domain to Jean Marie et Isabelle Chapier in 2019, the couple began making improvements to the property, and a new winery is being built for the 2024 harvest.

The average age of the vines is exceptionally high, with most being over 50 years old, which gives the wines an extraordinary quality, maturity, and concentration. The estate has been certified organic since 2019.

Cellar master Julien Millet, the son of Comtes de Vogüé's former winemaker François Millet, painstakingly makes wines employing native yeasts, producing delicate and refined cuvées with exquisite freshness and balance.
