Few vineyards can claim a connection to their home region as strong as Berlucchi has with Franciacorta.

The notion of making a classic method sparkling wine in Franciacorta originated with the dream of two forward-thinking entrepreneurs, Guido Berlucchi and Franco Ziliani, and this dream was finally realised in 1961, with the first production of just 3000 bottles, the last of which is still held in the centuries-old cellars, beneath the winery.

In terms of yields and ageing time, the Franciacorta Method is currently one of the tightest sets of guidelines in existence. In layman's words, what does that mean? Simply that only the best quality is present in a glass of Berlucchi and there are no compromises!
