Chilean wine is Juan José Ledesma's life, his breath, and his music. For the past 24 years, Juan has been working in the Itata Valley in southern Chile, providing advice to large and small wineries alike around the country.

By using music to aid in the fermentation and elevage of some of his Terroir Sonoro wines, Juan has united his two loves. He even went so far as to submerge speakers (which are actually a magnetic transducer in silicon) during the elevage process. He thinks that the vibrations help the wines to harmonise. 

Alvaro Senor, a viticulturist whose family has held their farm and vineyard since 1950, and Juan collaborate closely at Terroir Sonoro Wines. To create his distinctive and refined wines, Juan uses three small plots: 2 ha of Cinsault, 1.8 ha of Pais, and 1.8 ha of Moscatel.
