Domaine Antoine Olivier was founded towards the end of the 1960s from the few vines left by Antoine Moreau-Chevalier to his grandson Hervé, Antoine's father.

Through plot purchases and new plantings, the estate has expanded into the Burgundy vineyard, first in Santenay, then in Savigny-les-Beaune, Pommard, and, most recently, Rully.

Antoine Olivier have dedicated themselves to the development of ancient terroirs, traditionally known for the production of white wine from Santenay, as their business has grown.

For some abandoned for more than a century, these terroirs have enabled them to produce white and red wines that are now recognised among the Great Wines of Burgundy and have made the estate the principal producer of Santenay white wines.
