Azienda Agricola Ottella is located in the district of Lugano near Peschiera del Garda, on Lake Garda's southern shore. The winery's founders, brothers Ludovico and Francesco Montresor, as well as their father Michel, successfully blend adherence to local winemaking traditions with cutting-edge technology.

Vineyards, primarily of the Trebbiano varietal, planted on coastal clay-limestone soils in a mild environment that encourages great ripening. 

Lugana's producing area stretches between the provinces of Verona and Brescia. Sirmione, Desenzano, Lonato, Pozzolengo, and Peschiera del Garda are the DOC municipalities.

According to legend, the winery's name Otella first existed in the XVI century, as proven by the coat of arms maintained in the estate's courtyard.
