The Wine – Internationally Acclaimed Canadian Wines

Pillitteri Estates is one of Canada's most celebrated family wineries, producing premium wines in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Renowned for its exceptional Icewines alongside elegant reds and aromatic whites, the winery has received more than 800 awards at national and international competitions.
The unique climate of the Niagara Peninsula, influenced by nearby Lake Ontario, creates wines with vibrant fruit, natural freshness and outstanding balance. Its world-famous Icewines are made from grapes naturally frozen on the vine, producing intensely concentrated flavours and remarkable complexity.

The Estate – Generations of Family Winemaking

Founded in 1993 by Gary Pillitteri, the winery traces its roots to the family's Sicilian winemaking heritage. After settling in Canada in 1948, Gary built a family farming business that eventually developed into one of Niagara's most recognised wineries.
Today, Pillitteri Estates encompasses more than 100 acres of family vineyards and impressive winemaking facilities, including a distinctive underground barrel cellar. Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, the estate remains dedicated to producing wines of exceptional quality.

The Winemaker – Aleksandar Kolundzic

Pillitteri's winemaking is led by Aleksandar Kolundzic, an experienced winemaker with extensive expertise in producing premium Canadian wines.

With a meticulous approach to grape selection, fermentation and maturation, Aleksandar creates wines that express the distinctive character of Niagara's vineyards. From fresh, aromatic whites to structured, age-worthy reds and the estate's internationally acclaimed Icewines, his expertise is central to Pillitteri's reputation for excellence.
