In the little village of Dudda, which is part of the Greve in Chianti municipality, Carpineto was established in 1967.

The company was established by Giovanni Carlo Sacchet and Antonio Mario Zaccheo, who set out on this amazing journey because they had a burning desire to make the best Chianti Classico.

The Sacchet and Zaccheo families collaborate together to manage five estates totaling 500 hectares, all of which are farmed sustainably with minimal impact on the environment and no emissions. The winemaker, Caterina Sacchet, receives both a vast amount of expertise and a deep love of the land from her father.

The narrative of two friends named Carpineto and their families is brought together by their shared love of Sangiovese and their ardent desire to take part in Tuscany's wine renaissance. They still pursue their goal of making the wines they adore, which are popular in 70 different nations, today.
