When Louis Roederer inherited the Champagne House in 1833, he took a creative approach to nourishing his vineyards, intending to master every stage of the wine's development. He created the wine's distinct style, character, and flavour.

Louis Roederer purchased some of Champagne's grand cru vineyards in the mid-nineteenth century, a method that contrasted significantly with modern practises.

The Louis Roederer House has remained an independent, family-owned business, and is now managed by Jean-Claude Rouzaud's son, Frédéric Rouzaud, who represents the lineage's seventh generation.

The House of Louis Roederer's annual exports number three million bottles over the world, with the same patience and unwavering faith in its creative vocation.
