Small, family-run Château du Cèdre is renowned throughout the world for its Malbec wines. Pascal and Jean-Marc Verhaeghe, members of the second generation, are now in charge.

The vineyard has an organic certification. They started banning all herbicides from the vineyards in the early 1990s and stopped using chemical spraying agents in 2002.

Their grapes' quality was greatly enhanced, which inspired them to apply for organic certification in 2009. In 2012, they produced the first wine that was officially organic.
