Although the Mialhe and Panis families have owned Château du Vieux Parc for six generations, it wasn't until the 1960s that the domain shifted away from producing bulk wine and towards producing high-quality wine that they personally bottled.

Under Guy Panis' leadership, Vieux Parc achieved remarkable success and won multiple accolades by shifting its emphasis from bulk wine production to cultivation and bottling.

Later, Guy Panis's son Louis returned from a career as a teacher to take the initiative and carry on the work that his father had started.
