Chateau Grande Boise was founded in 1610 and is steeped in history. It is Provence's tallest estate, with views of the Arc Valley and the majestic Mount Sainte-Victoire.

The estate has only changed hands four times in its long history, and it has been restored to its previous beauty since 2013 under the current ownership. The 400-hectare hillside estate is divided into 90 vineyard sections totaling 45 hectares.

Significant investments at Chateau Grande Boise have included replanting 70% of the vines using 'massal selection' (a French wine growing term for the practice of replanting new vineyards with cuttings from exceptional old vines from the same or nearby property); organic and biodynamic farming, horse-drawn ploughing and manual vine cultivation.
