The 12th-century Chateau Lamothe Bouscaut is situated in the village of Cadaujac. It was purchased by Chateau Bouscaut, a neighbouring property owned by Sophie Lurton and Laurent Cogombles, in 1999. The nine hectares of vineyards are primarily made up of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc.

The vines are 35 years old on average and are grown in deep gravelly soils. Five vineyard employees manually prune the vines as part of a sustainable management strategy.

Pressing is done on the Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon bunches, and the juice is then refrigerated for 24 hours after being partially racked. After that, it is put into barrels, 30% of which are new oak, where it is vinified on its fine lees. Following fermentation, the wine is stored in oak barrels for eight months while being batonnaged once a month.
