Chateau Saint-Romans is produced by a reputable 45 hectare estate with a seventeenth-century history. The grapes on the estate have largely been planted on the best clay-limestone and gravel soils; this clayey-siliceous terroir gives the wine structure and the capacity to mature. The estate's vines have an average age of 30 years.

The Chateau Saint-Romans vineyard is located on a plain, and the vines there are double Guyot trained.

In order to manage yields and concentrate the tastes in the berries, the vines go through thorough pruning, debudding, and green harvesting. Spraying only happens when it is essential.
