Albert Morot established his trading company in Beaune in 1820. Françoise Choppin oversaw the estate from 1984 to 1999, ceasing her involvement in the negociant business in order to focus on the estate's vines and winemaking.

Ten appellations make up the eight hectares of vineyard on the property, which has been certified organic since the 2015 harvest.

Geoffroy Choppin de Janvry, an agricultural engineer with a focus on viticulture and oenology, acquired the Albert Morot estate from his great aunt in January 2000.

Geoffroy creates wines of the highest quality that are widely regarded all over the world using a minimal intervention technique.
