Sebastien and Anne Bidault founded Domaine Bidault in 2008. Sebastien and Anne are natives of Morey-Saint-Denis and Puligny Montrachet, respectively, and were raised in the wine industry.

Robert Gibourg, who owns the domain under that name, is the father of Anne.

From a modest estate in the Côtes de Nuits that includes little plots in Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny, Sebastien and Anne make Domaine Bidault wines. They use old, low-yielding vines that are organically grown to create high-quality, terroir-driven wines.
