The 20 hectare Domaine Botti vineyard has been a family-owned business for over 80 years. The vineyard is located in the centre of the Lamartine neighbourhood in the southernmost region of the Mâconnais.

The Chene family has been producing wine and farming grapes in Macon for five generations, but they have often sold their whole harvest to the neighbourhood co-op.

Cedric Chêne started bottling and marketing his own wine as Domaine Chêne Pere et Fils in 1999 after deciding that his vines and labour of love deserved more.

The Domaine Botti  is located in the commune of Péronne, in the Mâconnais region, on moderate slopes with an east and south orientation.

Chardonnay grapes are used to make St. Véran, and the vineyards are grown in chalky and clay soil.
