In Cairanne, a town surrounded by Southern Rhône vineyards, André Brusset established Domaine Brusset in 1947. The business is still run by André's grandson Laurent and son Daniel today.

At Brusset, cutting-edge technology is combined with respect for heritage. They practise low-intervention farming in the cellar and are environmentally careful, holding Level 3 High Value Environmental Certification from the French Ministry of Agriculture.

Gigondas [where some of the most impressive terraced vineyards on the Dentelles de Montmirail mountain range are located], Cairanne, Rasteau, Côte du Rhône, and Ventoux all have 70 hectares under vine.

The white Viognier, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, and Clairette, as well as the red Grenache Noir, Syrah, Mourvedre, Cinsault, and Carignan grape varietals, are produced in this region.

90% of Domaine Brusset production is red wine, and the variety of terroirs and grape varietals allows for the production of a wide range of wines of exceptional quality through the skillful use of new oak.

These wines have a savoury garrigue edge and are delicate, showing a superb concentration of fruit and exquisite spice.

Wonderfully genuine, just-picked raspberries and crushed black pepper aromas enveloped by a mouthwatering yeastiness, like baking bread Really fresh in the mouth, with raspberry and black cherry flavours, although the youthful tannin and crisp acidity suggest pomegranate or cranberry This is SUCH a vibrant wine: if you order a few bottles, it would be a shame not to enjoy some of them immediately for their wonderful freshness and crystal clear sense of place However, it will have no problem ageing 4-5 years, and probably longer Outstanding value

Exceptionally intense nose of fresh raspberries and black pepper: a really gorgeous aromatic expression of Grenache, with sumptuous silkiness from the Syrah The Mourvedre adds structure and satisfying richness The texture is succulent, with super-refined tannins, and the flavour is distinctive and beautifully expressive Long, liquorice flavours on the finish Simply delicious!

Deep, saturated purple in colour, this has an exceptionally concentrated aroma of super-ripe black cherries, cream and peppery spice It tastes the way it smells - concentrated but so fresh and juicy, with the beginnings of complexity: freesia, clove, star anise and white chocolate The tannins are present yet supple, and the overall texture is succulent and delicious This could age for a decade or so, but it's gorgeous already The wine comes from vineyard terraces high up on the Dentelles de Montmirail mountains, just below the vines used for 'Les Secrets'
