In the centre of Crozes-Hermitage, this family domain, Domaine de la Ville Rouge, was established in 2006.

Edgar and Jocelyne Girard, along with their son Sebastien, run it. They combine conventional winemaking methods with contemporary technologies to create wines of the highest quality.

Since the 2012 vintage, the wines have been certified organic and are made with little to no sulphur.
