Jean Goulley founded Domaine Jean Goulley in 1986, and his granddaughter Maud is currently in charge of it. Maud succeeded her father Philippe, who had been managing the estate for nearly 40 years, in January 2022.

The core of the Domaine is 4.5 hectares owned by the family in the Premier Cru appellations. In total, they own about 18 hectares.

One of the very first producers in Chablis to be certified organic was the Domaine in 1991. All of the vines are organically managed, and just a small amount of sulphur is used in the winemaking process.

The Goulley family thinks organic agricultural practices enable a creative and resilient earth. Their wines are clean, vibrant, and mineral.
