Set on a south-facing hillside at the foot of the Pyrenees, Domaine Pichard is a family-run estate founded in 1950 with an international outlook, and a serious commitment to organic, sustainable viticulture. The domaine is surrounded by woodland, with no nearby agriculture, giving the vineyards a rare sense of purity. Add in galets (large pebbles) that store heat and provide excellent drainage through clay-and-pebble soils, and you get wines with real energy, ripeness and authenticity.

Domaine Pichard produces Madiran AOC reds and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh AOC whites (dry and semi-sweet). The reds blend the best of both worlds: Tannat brings power, depth and longevity, while Cabernet Franc adds fruit, finesse and balance — with Cabernet Franc here widely recognised as outstanding. The whites deliver fruit, complexity and minerality, each with its own distinct personality.

Expect bottles that are unmistakably “Pichard”: aromatic, characterful and built for the table.

Madiran reds: brilliant with red or white meats, rich fish (hello lobster and salmon), spiced Asian/Indian dishes, cheeses, even chocolate desserts. Enjoy young or cellar with confidence.
Pacherenc whites: ideal with fish and oysters, cheese, or simply as an aperitif.
