The grapes of the Dominio de Fontana estate are 700 to 900 metres above sea level, making it one of Central Castile's highest and most northern locations. This elevation's optimal growing circumstances result in wines with outstanding purity, freshness, and varietal expression.

The vineyards are grown sustainably, and the estate is managed as an integrated ecosystem that includes hundreds of century-old Quercus oak trees.

Dominio de Fontana aims to cultivate 100% organically very soon. Currently, 50% of the vineyard is grown organically.
