In the late 1990s, Hattingley Valley's owner, Simon Robinson, sought to diversify his property.
Simon, who has a passion for wine, looked into the possibility of setting up a vineyard and winery.

Early on, Simon's wife Nicola contributed to the brand's development; this summer, she is in charge of leading local and speciality sales of Hattingley Valley goods.

Nicola enjoys helping out in the vineyard, especially when it comes to pruning the vineyard roses. She always seems to have a pair of secateurs on hand.

English sparkling wines, which are renowned for their award-winning quality and creative and dynamic winemaking methods, are exported to 16 other nations and enjoyed all throughout the UK.
