In the Lower Alentejo, between Vidigueira and Cuba, lies the wine estate Herdade do Rocim. It is 120 hectares in size, with 10 hectares of olive trees and 70 hectares of vineyards.

Herdade do Rocim has made significant investments in the vineyards since its founding in 2000, replanting vines and introducing new kinds. They follow sustainable vineyard practises and are affiliated with the Alentejo Viticulture Sustainable Programme.

Following the ages-old customs of vinification in 'Tahla' pots, they are pioneers in the field of 'amphora wines'. To produce crisp, refined, and mineral wines, the vineyard is hand tended, and minimal intervention is employed in the winery.

Herdade do Rocim won the title of Best Wine Producer in 2018 from Revista de Vinhos.
