IXSIR gets its name from 'Iksir,' the ancient Arabic word for 'Elixir,' a phrase used in various languages to describe the purest form of all things - a secret elixir that offers endless youth and love.

IXSIR's mission is to bring to light Lebanon's outstanding terroirs, some of which have long been neglected. IXSIR's vineyards are dispersed over Lebanon's mountains on clay-calcareous and limestone soil, from Batroun to Jezzine, and benefit from microclimates that are unique to Lebanon.
