Joost and Miguela de Villebois, who are descended from an ancient French family that has been present in the Netherlands since the 19th century, founded this family-run winery. Joost and Miguela, who are enthusiastic about French culture and the Loire Valley, moved to Touraine in 1996 after falling in love with Loire Sauvignon Blanc.

With a regard for the soils and the terroir, they combine modern technology, creativity, and experimentation to develop a variety of terroirs throughout appellations in the Loire Valley.
