Journeymaker Wines are grown a short distance from Waterval Private Nature Reserve in the rich Riebeek Valley, which is tucked away on the slopes of the magnificent Kasteelberg Mountain.

The climate is Mediterranean and is located around 80 kilometres northwest of Cape Town. As with many French wines, irrigation at Journeymaker Wines is not used since it is prohibited. Additionally, this lets nature do its thing, just like with many of the best wines.
