This mature Riesling has a fascinating bouquet of citrus, tropical and stone fruit (lime, papaya, pineapple and peach), honey, beeswax, fennel and evocative nuances (dusty footpath on a hot summer day, leather-bound tomes in an Oxford college library) It is bone dry on the palate, yet with a wealth of intriguing, complex flavours: pine forest, mandarin zest, frankincense, honey and delicate tropical character Really exceptional, with superb intensity and complexity

With a beautiful golden colour and complex yet mellow and harmonious aromas, it's immediately clear that this is drinking superbly already Ripe pear, papaya and dried apricot fruit are wrapped up in an irresistible bundle of salted caramel and butterscotch It's almost like drinking toffee apples (but without any sugariness) There is still a slight restraint and leanness to the texture, indicating that the wine could still keep a few more years, and yet the length and complexity on the finish are nothing short of glorious Bravo!
