Evangelos Gerovassiliou is the creator of Ktima Gerovassiliou. By planting the practically extinct Malagousia in 1981, he started the restoration of the family vineyard.

On the slopes of Epanomi, this cutting-edge winery is currently surrounded by 80 hectares of expertly maintained and sustainably farmed grapes.

These vineyards employ a manual harvesting method. Many domestic and international grape varieties can be grown there with success. The Malagaousia and Assyrtiko are two of the most well-known local indigenous whites.

Among the reds, the locally grown varieties Limnio, Mavroudi, and Mavrotragano are extremely well-liked in this area. The wines under this label honour the rich histories of all of these indigenous varieties.

The grape varieties that are employed are Chardonnay, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, and Merlot, among other foreign varietals.
