In Sonoma County, MacMurray Estate Vineyards has a long history. Since the 1850s, the Porter family has farmed their namesake vineyard, MacMurray Ranch, and Fred MacMurray purchased the ranch in 1941.

For decades, Fred adopted the rancher's way of life, breeding champion cattle and cultivating crops here as his kids rode horses across the hills.

Kate MacMurray, an actor, playwright, and activist, is Fred's daughter. She maintains an enduring connection to the estate and helps tell the history of their eponymous vineyard, famed property, and acclaimed wine.
