The Lion of Saint Mark is the emblem of the Gradisca d'Isonzo-based Company Marco Felluga, a tribute to the illustrious past of the historic settlement built by the Most Serene Republic of Venice.

Its vineyards are spread throughout four distinct Collio regions: Cormns, San Floriano del Collio, Oslavia, and Farra d'Isonzo. These vineyards produce its premium red and white wines.

The Collio is a region with a long history of viticulture. The two prominent businesses Marco Felluga and Russiz Superiore tell the tale of a family that has been developing and passing down its love of wine for six generations. The family's origins can be found in Istria, Croatia, in the second half of the 1800s, more than 150 years ago.

Marco Felluga, a forerunner in modern viticulture, considerably advanced this path. Then, champions of ethical and superior winemaking Roberto and Ilaria Felluga carried it on with love and entrepreneurship.
