Ocean Eight was built in 2004 on the southern, colder side of Mornington Peninsula and is owned by the Aylward family, who founded the renowned Kooyong vineyard.

Winemaker Mike Aylward creates magnificent cool climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir at their state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled, gravity-fed winery, drawing inspiration from the great wine areas of Alsace, Burgundy, and Champagne.

Only 5,000 cases of Ocean Eight wines are produced year, with all of the grapes coming from the family's 17 acre property.
