Prapian is a really unique location and at three hundred metres above sea level, in the municipality of Tarzo, in the province of Treviso, are the vineyards of the Prapian estate.

The soil is rich in minerals, and the terrain is sunny, blessed with water, and wind-protected. Every time we reap its bounty, this land astounds us with its special gift.

When this area was under water millions of years ago, the sea was only a few metres deep and was home to coral and algae, which later fossilised to become the chestnut, beech, elm, and oak woodlands that we see today. On a clear day, you can see all the way to Venice, which is located at the opposite end of the Adriatic Sea and sparkles in the distance.

One of the Tarzo - Valdobbiadene hills' most distinctive terroirs is called Prapian, and the area has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is located in the core zone, which is the region where exceptional, exclusive wines are produced because of its slopes and rare 'terroir'.
