The Rovellotti family's vineyards, located around Ghemme, cover 25 hectares on the Novarese Hills: this location, exposed to the fresh Alpine winds, is ideal for cultivating the indigenous grape varieties Nebbiolo, Vespolina, Vitigno Innominabile, and Bonarda.

Because of an excellent environment, such as the temperature difference between day and night, the vines can develop their incomparable aromatic qualities here.

The highly acidic soil elements make the grapes particularly special; indeed, they lend a distinct style to the wines produced. The clayey matrix, which can also be found in the surrounding rice fields of Novara, holds water like a sponge, promoting cluster growth. These are often quite large and have an excellent surface-to-skin ratio.

The winery is part of the Ghemme Ricetto castle, whose walls, constantly in equilibrium, bear witness to our efforts between bravery and prudence.

The Rovellotti family's story is inextricably linked to the vine's.
