The Saumaize-Michelin estate, which is situated in the Mâconnais, produces white Burgundies from some of the best terroirs in the Pouilly-Fuissé and Saint-Véran appellations.

The estate was established in 1978 and gradually expanded from a 3.5 ha sharecrop (with 50% of the yield going to the owner and 50% to the operator).

The 'Clos sur la Roche' Pouilly Fuissé site was bought and largely planted in 1981. In 1992, plots from Saint-Véran finished the Saumaize-Michelin range.

The Saint-Véran 'Les Crèches' and Pouilly-Fuissé 'Les Courtelongs' plots, which originated from Roger's father's land, respectively enhanced the estate in 1995 and 2005. "Until then, half was given back to the owner.

In 2007, the fresh cellars at Saumaize-Michelin were finished.
And finally, Pouilly-Fuissé 'La Maréchaude' in 2014, in collaboration with their son Vivien under lease.
