Mme Evelyne Courriades and M. François George created SAVAS in 1975. However, the voyage had already started ten years earlier with the opening of 'Le Caveau des Capucins,' a Cash & Carry located in Bordeaux's Capucins Market.

The business developed awareness among wholesalers and a few significant retailers over time and via varied interactions. They actually started implementing a plan to dominate the French retail business in 2001. Savas significantly shifted its focus towards the foreign market in 1992, assisted by a group of enthusiastic young salespeople.

Savas own and operate many wineries throughout France and target the palate of many wine drinkers with easy drinking wines with creative and innovative designs that often spark conversations and make memories that are often repeated
