Soito Wines, one of the Dão's newest and most promising winemaker ventures, was founded in 2013. Two former teachers, José Carlos and Sandra Soares, were driven by their love of Dão wines to set out on a mission to create distinctive, characterful wines that reflected their love of wine and perfectly encapsulated the Dão terroir.
The family-owned Quinta do Soito wine estate is situated in the Beira Alta region of northern central Portugal and has been producing wine for more than a century. Jose and Sandra give it new life by concentrating on sustainable farming and adhering to an environmental and socially responsible mindset.
Quinta do Soito, one of the top producers in the area, is rising to prominence. In their cutting-edge winery, local Dão grape varietals are expertly transformed into prestigious wines.
