For Umberto Cesari, making quality wine is a long-standing family heritage in this region of Romagna. By purchasing 20 hectares of property in the hills between 200 and 800 metres above sea level that run from the Via Emilia towards the Apennine Mountains and the boundary of Tuscany, Umberto and his wife Giuliana made the decision to establish their business here in 1965.

He has since expanded and improved the quality of his wines continuously. Currently, the Company owns 100 hectares that are separated into four separate vineyards: La Casetta, Parolino, Cà Grande, and Laurento. Each of these vineyards offers the ideal microclimate for the plants that have been planted.
