Situated in the picturesque region of Margaret River, Australia, Xanadu Wines is among the most well-known and esteemed brands in the area. It was founded by Dr. John Lagan in 1977. The year-round good Mediterranean environment, climate and soil composition are responsible for the exceptionally high quality of wines produced here.

Xanadu is split up into their premium estates -

At Lagan Estate, the vines are planted in a distinctive vertical shoot positioning fashion throughout a 17-hectare area. These vines are well-known for producing Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot grape varietals. Xanadu Wines' Reserve Wine, made from the low-yielding Chardonnay varietal, is regarded as one of their flagship offerings.

Set by Xanadu in 1989, the 24 hectares of vines at Stevens Road produce some of the best Shiraz Muscadelle, Chardonnay, Malbec, Merlot, Graciano, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The two most excellent grape varieties in this area, according to experts, are Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The recently constructed Boodjidup Estate vineyard is situated in close proximity to the old Lagan Estate in Xanadu. This 47-hectare vineyard was established in 1999. Of this, 23 hectares are planted to the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety. The business uses grapes cultivated in this vineyard to make almost all of its premium wines. Vineyards with 22 hectares left are planted to varieties like Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, and Semillon.

The Xanadu Wine brand takes pride in producing a wide range of wines, three of which have won awards: the 2017 Xanadu, which is created from DJL Sauvignon Blanc Semillon; the 2016 Xanadu Reserve, which is made from Chardonnay; and the 2015 Xanadu Stevens Road, which is made from Cabernet Sauvignon.
