Abito Wines produces premium single-vineyard wines from Barrancas in Mendoza, one of Argentina's most celebrated wine-growing regions.

The Estate – Finca Bautem, Where Quality Begins

Abito's wines originate exclusively from Finca Bautem, a vineyard established by founder David Mayo in 2010 in the historic Barrancas area of Maipú. Situated approximately 750 metres above sea level, the estate benefits from sandy, stony soils shaped by the nearby Mendoza River.

The vineyard combines traditional agricultural expertise with advanced technology, including satellite vineyard monitoring, drones, weather stations and solar-powered operations. This innovative approach allows the team to manage each vineyard parcel precisely while respecting the surrounding environment.

The Winemaker – Sergio Montiel

Abito's wines are created under the direction of head winemaker Sergio Montiel, who has guided the winemaking project since its beginnings.
