Maison Coquard produces distinctive French wines from the celebrated Beaujolais and Mâconnais regions, combining generations of winemaking heritage with a creative, modern approach. From vibrant, fruit-forward Gamay wines to refined regional selections, Maison Coquard celebrates the diversity and quality of French winemaking. Its wines have received recognition from industry professionals and are appreciated by wine enthusiasts internationally.

The Estate – A Family Heritage Dating Back to 1881

The Maison Coquard story stretches back to 1881, when the family's distinctive golden-stone house was built in the village of Theizé, in the heart of Beaujolais. Generations of the Coquard family have cultivated vineyards and produced wines in this historic region.
In 2005, Christophe Coquard returned to his family home and established Maison Coquard, bringing new energy and creativity to the family's winemaking heritage. Today, the house combines traditional expertise, carefully selected regional wines and distinctive contemporary presentation.

The Winemaker – Christophe Coquard

Born into a family of Beaujolais winegrowers, Christophe Coquard developed his passion for wine by watching his father and grandfather tend the vineyards and produce wine at the family estate.

Drawing on generations of knowledge alongside his own international experiences, Christophe has created a distinctive wine house that celebrates both tradition and innovation. His commitment to quality, creativity and authentic regional character has established Maison Coquard as an exciting name in modern Beaujolais.
